This and That.

This last week there was a bunch of little things that either got finished, started or completed! The framers finished framing a few walls and cutting out holes for the HVAC installation.  They finished framing the frost walls and mechanical room in the basement (you can see the electrical panel all ready for hookup!) Doug started working on the exterior putting up Tyvek, installing window flashings and whatever else Doug does!  We also had the upper Balcony outfitted with Torch-on to waterproof it.  We are now just waiting for the plumber to get in and install all the water and sewer lines and HVAC should probably start at the end of next week.

  1. Doug sure looks like he had his hands full that day! It sure is great to see everything as it progresses to the final outcome. Setting up the places where the HVAC units will be installed is key. Misaligning them could mean problems later on, especially if it results to leaks or inefficient heat distribution. By putting up the pipes, electricity and HVAC, it's as if you can start living at your house! Hopefully everything will be done soon, so you can go ahead and start furnishing the place. Good luck!
